An ability can be easy to recognise when you see it in a match. Identifying its icon and remembering which key it belongs to can be a different challenge.

Kit Shuffle names the champion and gives you four shuffled ability icons. Your task is to put them into the correct Q, W, E and R slots.

You are arranging the kit by its standard key positions. This is not a question about skill levelling order or the sequence of a champion’s combo.

How to play Kit Shuffle

1. Check the champion. Think about their abilities before placing the icons.
2. Choose an icon and its slot. Select an ability icon, then select where it belongs. You can also drag it into position.
3. Fill all four slots. Place one icon in each position: Q, W, E and R.
4. Submit the arrangement. Correctly placed abilities will lock.
5. Rearrange the remaining icons. Use the feedback to solve the kit within three submissions.

Each icon can be used once. You can adjust unlocked icons before submitting without spending an attempt.

Use the locked slots to narrow down the answer

After a submission, correctly placed abilities lock into their slots. You no longer need to consider those positions, so the next attempt focuses on the remaining icons.

If Q and R lock after your first submission, for example, the unresolved icons belong in W and E. Use that feedback rather than rebuilding the whole arrangement from memory.

Kit Shuffle scoring

All four slots must be correct to solve the puzzle. Locked abilities help you find the answer, but they do not award partial points if the kit remains incomplete.

Think about what each ability does

Start with an icon you recognise. A distinctive ultimate or a frequently used basic ability can give you a reliable starting point.

Connect the picture to an action. Think about whether the icon represents a projectile, movement ability, shield or attack. Recalling what happens when you press the key can help you place it.

Use standard key positions. If you play with custom controls, mentally translate back to Q, W, E and R. The quiz does not use your personal keybindings.

Let the feedback guide you. Once a slot locks, concentrate on the remaining choices. There is no speed bonus, so you can think before submitting again.

Do I need to identify the champion?

No. The champion is named. Your task is to match the four ability icons to Q, W, E and R.

Is this a skill levelling-order or combo quiz?

No. Arrange the abilities by their standard key positions, not the order in which you would level them or use them in a combo. There is no separate passive slot.

Does moving an icon use an attempt?

No. An attempt is used when you submit a complete arrangement. You can reposition unlocked icons before submitting, and each icon must be used exactly once.

What do locked slots mean?

A locked slot contains the correct ability. It stays in place for the rest of the round, leaving you to arrange the unresolved icons.

Do I earn points for a partially correct kit?

No. You must complete all four slots to score. If the kit remains incorrect after three submissions, or you give up, the round ends with zero points and reveals the answer. The finished round still counts towards daily completion.

Can I play without dragging icons?

Yes. Select an icon and then select its destination slot. Drag-and-drop is optional.

When does the puzzle reset, and can I continue playing afterwards?

The daily puzzle resets at 00:00 UTC, and everyone receives the same scheduled kit for that date. Select Practice for additional puzzles when available. Practice results do not replace your daily score or count towards your streak.

What should I do if an ability icon appears incorrect?

Check the data snapshot displayed in the puzzle, particularly if the champion has received an update. If the icon or placement still appears wrong for that version, use “Report a puzzle issue” beneath the game and include the champion and affected ability slot.
