A daily League of Legends guessing game with three ways to play

You recognise your main instantly. But can you identify a champion from a small section of their splash art, remember an unfamiliar item recipe or put another champion’s abilities in order?

RiftDaily Arcade tests all three. Each main game rewards a different kind of knowledge, so a strong result in one round does not guarantee an easy win in the next. Start with your favourite, work through the daily set and see where you finish out of 300.

Choose your daily challenge

Rift Reveal: choose which clues to uncover

The splash art is hidden behind nine tiles, with one already visible. You choose which additional tiles to open. A distinctive weapon or costume detail might reveal the champion immediately, but every extra tile reduces the score you can earn.

Item Forge: remember what goes into your purchase

The target item and part of its recipe are shown. Select the missing direct component from six choices. It is a test of recipe knowledge, rather than a question about which item you should buy in a particular match.

Kit Shuffle: recognise the abilities behind the icons

The champion is named, but their four ability icons are shuffled. Put them into the correct Q, W, E and R slots. Correct placements lock after each submission, helping you work through the rest of the kit.

Guess the Chest: try the optional bonus

Identify a champion from a cropped outfit or armour detail. Each wrong guess reveals a wider view. This bonus has its own score and is not required to complete the main daily challenge.

How to play the daily challenge

1. Choose a game. Start with Rift Reveal, Item Forge or Kit Shuffle using the tabs above.
2. Complete the round. Follow the clues and submit your answers. Each main game is worth up to 100 points.
3. Finish the other two games. Complete all three main rounds to record your daily total out of 300.
4. Share your result. Challenge a friend without revealing the answers.
5. Return for the next daily set. New puzzles become available at 00:00 UTC. Try the optional bonus or available practice puzzles while you wait.

Build your score and keep your streak going

Fewer mistakes earn more points. Rift Reveal also rewards you for opening fewer tiles, while Item Forge and Kit Shuffle base your score on the attempt that solves the puzzle.

Finish all three main rounds to complete your day. You do not have to win every round: using all your attempts or giving up still finishes that game, although an unsolved round scores zero.

Frequently asked questions about the League of Legends guessing game

Is RiftDaily Arcade free, and do I need an account?

Yes, it is free to play. You do not need a RiftDaily account, a connected Riot account or an app download. Play in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

When do the puzzles reset, and does everyone get the same ones?

The daily puzzles reset at 00:00 UTC. Everyone receives the same scheduled puzzles for that UTC date, regardless of location. The countdown shows the time remaining. A round already open at reset can still be finished as a past challenge.

How is my daily score calculated?

Your daily total combines Rift Reveal, Item Forge and Kit Shuffle, each worth up to 100 points. Guess the Chest is a separate bonus and does not count towards the main maximum of 300.

Do I have to win every game to maintain my streak?

No. Finish all three main daily rounds to complete the day. A round counts as finished when you solve it, run out of attempts or give up. Leaving a main game unfinished means that day is not complete.

Will my progress be saved if I close the page?

Your browser stores the information needed to resume your session and retain your personal records. Return in the same browser to continue. Progress does not automatically sync across devices, and clearing browser storage or closing a private browsing session can remove it.

Can I play again after finishing the daily challenge?

Select Practice when practice content is available. It uses separate practice puzzles or available past challenges. Practice results do not replace your daily result or count towards your daily score or streak.

Can I compete with friends or join a leaderboard?

Use Share result to send your score and a challenge link without revealing the answers. Friends can play the same daily puzzles and compare results. Arcade does not currently include live multiplayer rooms or a public leaderboard.

What should I do if a puzzle does not load or seems incorrect?

Check your connection and make sure JavaScript is enabled. If the game offers a retry button, try it before clearing browser data, which can remove saved progress. For a problem with a clue or answer, use “Report a puzzle issue” beneath the game. Check the displayed data snapshot when reporting a possible patch-related error.
