Dplus KIA and Gen.G set the pace at Worlds 2026
Dplus KIA and Gen.G have been among the strongest teams throughout the Swiss Stage. Both Korean representatives secured qualification without dropping a series, finishing their opening three matches with 3-0 records.
Dplus KIA defeated G2 Esports, T1 and Movistar KOI on its way to qualification. Its performances against international opposition have reinforced its position as one of the teams to watch in the Knockout Stage.
Gen.G also looked convincing, taking victories against Invictus Gaming, Hanwha Life Esports and LYON. The result is another strong international performance from a team that entered Worlds with high expectations.

Both teams can now focus on preparing for the quarterfinals while the remaining contenders battle for the last available places.
Anyone's Legend, Team Secret Whales and CFO eliminated
Anyone's Legend suffered one of the most disappointing campaigns of the tournament. The LPL representative failed to win a series, losing against Karmine Corp, Top Esports and Team Liquid before finishing with a 0-3 record.
Team Secret Whales also failed to find a victory. Defeats against LYON and Invictus Gaming left the team facing elimination, before LOS secured the series that ended its Worlds run.
CTBC Flying Oyster became the third team eliminated after losing 2-0 to Karmine Corp on October 29. CFO had opened the tournament with a win against Team Liquid but could not maintain that momentum against Movistar KOI, T1 and Karmine Corp.

For all three teams, the Swiss Stage proved to be the end of the road. Their exits leave eight contenders fighting for the final three places.
Top Esports qualify after beating Bilibili Gaming
The October 29 clash between Top Esports and Bilibili Gaming was one of the biggest matches of the Swiss Stage. Both LPL sides were sitting at 2-1, and the series gave one team the chance to secure its place in the Knockout Stage.
Bilibili Gaming took the opening game, putting TES under pressure. Top Esports responded, however, winning the next two games to complete a 2-1 comeback and secure qualification.
The result sent Top Esports through as the fifth qualified team, while BLG dropped into the 2-2 group. Bilibili Gaming still has a route to the quarterfinals, but it cannot afford another defeat.
Invictus Gaming also booked its Knockout Stage place after defeating LYON 2-1 on October 28. The victory added another important result to IG's Worlds campaign.
