Worlds 2026: LPL No. 1 Seed Anyone’s Legend Eliminated Together with TSW After 0-3 Run

Team Secret Whales (TSW) and Anyone’s Legend (AL) have been eliminated from the League of Legends Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage after losing their Round 3 elimination matches. LØS swept TSW 2-0, while Team Liquid Alienware (TLAW) defeated AL by the same score, sending both teams home with 0-3 records.

The results delivered a major setback for AL, the LPL’s first seed, which became the first top-seeded LPL team to exit this Swiss Stage with three straight losses. For TSW, the defeat also ended a Worlds campaign that never found the win needed to keep its tournament hopes alive.

Worlds 2026 Round 3 results: TSW and AL bow out

Both elimination series ended 2-0, leaving little room for recovery once the teams fell behind. LØS took control against TSW across two games, while TLAW closed out AL in a longer second game after building an early series lead.

Anyone’s Legend make LPL history with first-seed elimination

Anyone’s Legend’s elimination is a rare setback for the LPL. It marks the first time in seven years that the region’s No. 1 seed has suffered this fate at Worlds, making AL’s 0-3 exit one of the tournament’s biggest talking points.

Coming into Worlds 2026 as the LPL’s top representative, AL would have been expected to challenge for a deep run. Instead, consecutive defeats left the team unable to recover in the Swiss Stage. Team Liquid Alienware delivered the final blow with a 2-0 win, confirming AL’s elimination alongside Team Secret Whales.

LØS shuts down Team Secret Whales

LØS secured the series with a 14-9 kill advantage in Game 1, finishing in 40 minutes and four seconds. The Brazilian side then delivered a stronger offensive performance in Game 2, winning 22-13 in 37 minutes and 23 seconds.

The gold totals underline how LØS gained the upper hand. It finished the first game with 78.5K gold against TSW’s 72.9K, then widened the gap in Game 2 with 76.6K against 68.4K. TSW could not turn either game into the win it needed to survive.

Team Liquid Alienware eliminates Anyone’s Legend

Anyone’s Legend entered Worlds 2026 as the LPL’s first seed, but its run ended without a Swiss Stage victory. Team Liquid Alienware won Game 1 in 33 minutes, taking a commanding 16-5 kill lead and finishing with 69.7K gold to AL’s 55.5K.

AL made the second game far more competitive. Both teams recorded 18 kills, and the match stretched to 47 minutes. TLAW nevertheless secured the win, finishing with 91.6K gold against AL’s 82.5K to complete the 2-0 sweep.

The elimination is a particularly disappointing result for an organization that arrived with the expectations attached to a top regional seed. Instead of building momentum through the Swiss Stage, AL leaves Worlds after three consecutive match losses.
