League of Legends Season 2, called Pandemonium, has been officially revealed. This time it will be a shorter season and it includes big gameplay changes and new skins. The upcoming season focuses on Vayne’s demon-hunting story. It will also introducing fan-favorite features like Your Shop and the Blue Essence Emporium. There will also come a new Battle Pass and returning keystones to the game.

Pandemonium theme and shorter season structure

Season 2 will take us to the outskirts of Demacia. It follows Vayne as she hunts demons and she will confront her past. Riot revealed the season will run for just six patches instead of the usual eight. This means it will be the shortest League of Legends season.

The reduced length is intentional. Which is designed to make space for a larger, more expansive season, coming later in the year. The progression systems have been adjusted to ensure players can still complete the Battlepass comfortably within the shorter timeframe.

Battle Pass changes and demon-themed rewards

The Season 2 Battle Pass is being reworked to be faster to complete. To make up for the shorter season duration. Riot is also changing how rewards are distributed, with non-Prestige skins now available for direct purchase.

In their place, players will earn Fiendish Mystery Skin Orbs, which grant random demon-themed Epic skins. This ties directly into the Pandemonium theme and offers more variety in rewards compared to previous passes.

New skins and themed cosmetics revealed

Season 2 introduces a wide range of skins, from dark thematic designs to more playful concepts. A new Annie skin is confirmed as part of the Pandemonium line, while Vayne is set to receive a major spotlight, including a Legendary-tier skin tied to the season’s narrative.
